Megaplex Madness: Summer Blockbuster is the second installment of the time-management game in which you can create your own movie theater from scratch. In this game, the objective is to satisfy the customers that come to your theater. They want tickets, some of them want to buy something to eat, others want to go to the bathroom, and finally they all want to watch the movie. In order to satisfy their needs, you have to click on them and drag them to the corresponding premises. There are 13 different customers to take care of and they all have different patience levels. The patience level is indicated by hearts that appear below the customer's needs. The more hearts a customer has when dropped on a premise, the more money you'll get. Also, if you leave a customer unattended for too long, he'll start losing hearts and getting so angry that he may even leave the place.
All levels have a target goal that you have to meet in order to get to the next level. You can see how much is needed to complete a level by looking at the film strip at the bottom of the screen which shows your progress. Also, with the money you get from the sales of one day, you can later buy things to improve your theater. This version includes 5 stylish movie-themed theaters that help add more variety to the game. Also, the game has lots of combos that you can make to earn extra money.
In addition to this, the game includes 4 game modes Relaxed, Normal, Hard, and Insane, although the last two are unlocked only as you progress in the game. What is more, it also includes 5 new arcade games that are also unlocked as you play. Regarding the graphics, they are colorful and attractive. Sound effects are good and there are five different pieces of music for each chapter.
In short, Megaplex Madness: Summer Blockbuster is a wonderful time-management game that will surely satisfy many fans of this genre. |
